The icon of modern natural funerals, Amy Cunningham, gave a moving talk last night about green burials to a room full of her funeral director peers (and enthusiasts like me). One theme that she talked about is how families are much more interfaith now than in the past – ~60% vs. 15%, when she got married (as an interfaith couple). Raising children in families with varying traditions is interesting, and a great opportunity to hold nature as a common value! Amen, sister!
